It was the second year of the pandemic. Everything was at a point where things were starting to level out. Restrictions were loosening, allowing us more freedom in our activities. We had a new Transport for London (TfL) autumn winter capsule ready to shoot. A dope location was secured at the Stratford depot. Everything was getting patterned up nicely.

However, the day before the shoot we were hit with a curve ball and the location was a no go. What a bummer, someone pulled the rug out from under us. As frustrating as it was, we didn't let it slow us down and we switched to plan B. The crew assembled and we ventured into the city for an improvised shoot on the underground network. The resulting photos are featured below.

And you might think that was the end of the story. Well, the most interesting part is that we never actually published these photos. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the photo's from this shoot didn't see the light of day. It was disappointing at the time, but that was then, and this is now. So, for the first time, we’re excited to share them with you.

The two models captured in these photos are a couple of legends, MC Pinty and Sam Akpro. Both Peckham locals deeply immersed in their music. Behind the lens was Brynley Davis, another local star doing remarkable work.

Here's how you can explore more of their projects:

We hope you enjoy reliving this experience through the photos below! It’s a glimpse into a chapter that nearly faded away but has now found its way back into the light.
