New Product Release: Matto x Done

Matt Jennings is a New Zealand born illustrator and screen printer based in London, UK. He has a keen interest in Detroit Techno and Electro music with the likes of Drexciya and associated aliases being amongst his favourites.

Matt started working with us as a novice printer in April 2025 and has gone on to become a really promising screen printer. The boy has some proper skills!!

We asked Matt to wizard up a few illustrations for our own merch and he came up with a bunch of ideas, the first of which were released on the 2 of April 2026.

Matt's style uses stripped back minimal forms and line-work. He will often start compositions in an analog format before digitising the illustrations. A lot of attention to detail is paid with the digital brushes used, mainly to replicate rough line edges you'd normally get when rendering artwork in traditional analog processes.

Matt's influences can be seen in the works of famous illustrators like Dom Kesterton, Joost Swarte and Lennard Kok.  Matt maintains a healthy level of humour in his work along with accurate yet simple proportions. He is a well rounded illustrator who pays a lot of attention to the details, that aren't always that obvious to the onlooker.
